Elder Education Institute Workshops

The Elder Education Institute offers professional and community based workshops on topics related to the special needs of our elders. Our professional level courses are approved by the WMHCA for Continuing Education credits for Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and Licensed Clinical Social Workers.  All service providers are welcome to attend.

•  April 16th, 2025, 9:00am-4:30pm PDT -Elder Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation with Kris Fredrickson, MSW, LICSW- 6 CEUs from the Washington Mental Health Counselor's Association for Washington State and the NASW Washington Chapter for licensed social workers, mental health counselors and family and marriage counselors. All service providers welcome. 
•  May 23rd, 2025, 9:00am-12:30pm PDT -Understanding the Law and Ethics of Mandatory Reporting and Client Lethality with Eric Strom, JD, PhD, LMHC, 3 CEUs from the Washington Mental Health Counselor's Association for Washington State and the NASW Washington Chapter for licensed social workers, mental health counselors and family and marriage counselors. All service providers welcome.
